Jeffree Star x Manny MUA COLLAB

Welcome back to another makeup review and swatch reveal here on my blog! Today I will be talking about the newly sought after Jeffree Star and Manny MUA collab! I was very lucky to be one of the people to pick up one of the bundles when they were released! These bundles sold out within the first half an hour of being available which I kind of expected to happen.

I have tried MANY of Jeffree’s velour liquid lipsticks and in my opinion, they are the best matte liquid lipsticks that I have tried so far. They feel super comfortable on the lips and quite lightweight! Certain shades that I have tried had a hard time drying down but these two new limited edition shades were perfect.

I have also had the liberty of trying two of his Skin Frosts before! The formula is very nice and blinding as well. The two that I have tried before are Princess Cut and Peach Goddess, and I can definitely say that where you compare the two of these next to Eclipse, you can see the real difference between the shades.

These highlighters swatch better with a brush rather than with a finger. The picture above is a simple finger swatch, just one swipe per highlight. As you can tell, Princess Cut (right) has a light pink tone, Eclipse (center) is a soft icy peach, and Peach Goddess (left) is almost a deeper peachy copper shade. Eclipse looks absolutely blinding on the cheek bones and has more of a reflective feel to it.

Now it is time to move onto the lipsticks! To be honest, I was a bit iffy on both of these shades at first. I do not usually wear red shades and Daddy looked like it would be too dark for me (I have a very fair complexion). I was quite surprised on how much I actually ended up liking I’m Shook! In the bottle the shades gives off a coral vibe, but it does not translate that way on the lips. The shade Daddy is a beautiful brownie shade and it kind of reminds me of a more warm toned darker version of Posh Spice.

For the price, the bundle is definitely more worth it rather than purchasing them individually. The two Velour Liquid Lipsticks cost $18 each, while the Skin Frost costs $29. The bundle costs $50 for all three items, but at the moment it is unfortunately sold out (as of April 17th). You can purchase the items individually and Jeffree offered a code for a 10% discount on the products (the code is MannyMUA). I would highly recommend these and I think that it is such a good deal!! I hope that you found this post helpful and useful in some way!
